2-3 Years Swimming

As your toddler gets older, they will begin to become more confident and learn even more things they can do in the pool. At this age, children learn through routine and repetition, so we focus a lot on this during these lessons. We include songs and games that they already know and incorporate them into their swimming. As your child progresses, we adapt these activities to make them more challenging and teach them water skills.

It is during these lessons that you will start to see your little one swim short distances completely independently. While you will still be there to support them and help them with their swimming, they will rely on you less and less in these lessons. We can accept children who have never swum before, as well as those who have completed other lessons with Pollywiggle Swim School.

We are experienced and trained in helping young children of all abilities learn to swim and develop their skills in the water. During these lessons your little ones will learn loads of new skills such as exhaling in the water, pushing away from the wall alone, and swimming to an adult. We understand that each child learns at their own pace, and all of our lessons are tailored to their unique needs. Some toddlers take a little more time to learn a new skill, while others are natural born swimmers, and either way we are on hand to give them the time and support they need.

What Will Your Child Learn In 2-3 Years Swimming Lessons?
